2. Scope of the Service

The Service enables service providers to publish appointments or events and manage related bookings. Customers can select open slots, submit their contact details, and receive confirmations or reminders from the provider.

Google OAuth is used only to connect a user’s Google Calendar to their account in our appointment booking admin interface. After explicit consent, the app receives OAuth tokens and uses the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope to create, update, and delete booking-related calendar events, and to keep availability synchronized between our system and Google Calendar. OAuth is not used for “Sign in with Google”; it is used exclusively for calendar integration and scheduling sync.

3. Payments and invoicing

• Online payments are processed via the Barion Smart Gateway.
• Card data is handled only by Barion Payment Zrt. (MNB licence: H-EN-I-1064/2013).
• Invoices are issued through the Számlázz.hu agent interface using the billing data you provide.
• For recurring subscriptions, the service fee is charged automatically at the start of each billing cycle; renewal can be cancelled at any time from the admin portal or by writing to hello@bookcessful.com.
• For subscription (recurring) payments, the selected plan fee is charged automatically by Barion Payment Zrt. at the start of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
• The checkout flow clearly states the amount, frequency and cancellation method; subscriptions can be cancelled anytime before the next cycle in the admin portal or via hello@bookcessful.com.
• Your bank statement will list Barion Payment Zrt. as the merchant to avoid misunderstandings.
• We send reminder emails before monthly or yearly renewals (typically 7 and 1 days in advance) with the planned charge and cancellation options.

4. User responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate personal and billing details.
• Before finalising a booking you must accept the Privacy Policy and these Terms.
• Cancellation or change rules are defined by the service provider operating the given calendar.
