Guide

Onboarding wizard

The goal of the onboarding wizard is to set up the basic configuration of a new account quickly and consistently. The order of the steps is designed to ensure minimal booking functionality is available already in the first days.

Basic setup steps

  • Account basics: name, time zone, admin language, and the basic settings of the public booking interface.
  • Services: create the first service, define its type (single/group), and set the base capacity.
  • Resources: add resources linked to the service and select a default resource.
  • Working hours: set opening hours and available time slots required for booking logic to work.
  • Branding: upload a logo and define basic visual elements to keep the public page consistent.

Recommended checks

At the end of the wizard, it’s recommended to check whether the public booking page is accessible and whether at least one event or time slot can be booked. This helps avoid a situation where the system is technically ready but not actually bookable.

  • Public page test: open the public page and check whether the services are visible.
  • Booking flow: create a test booking to verify that email and status logic work correctly.

Tip for a quick start

If you just want to get the account running quickly, focus on the basic details, a single service, and a single resource. Detailed fine-tuning can be done later, but you can already start accepting bookings this way.
