What is the admin interface?

The admin interface is the control panel of your Bookcessful account, where you can manage the entire lifecycle of the booking process—from configuring services and resources, through publishing events, to overseeing bookings, waitlists, and notifications. Actions taken here directly affect how the public booking page behaves and the overall guest experience.

Why is this interface central?

  • Operations: quickly handle day-to-day booking, cancellation, and rescheduling tasks.
  • Transparency: get real-time visibility into event capacity, waitlists, and no-show rates.
  • Automation: set up rules for recurring tasks and waitlist handling to reduce manual intervention.
  • Quality assurance: maintain consistent service and resource logic, making the booking process predictable for customers.

What do you manage here on a daily basis?

  • Services and resources: what can be booked, with what capacity, and under which rules.
  • Events and occurrences: when and how group time slots appear, and how many spots are available.
  • Bookings and waitlists: customer statuses, rescheduling, approvals, and automated offers.
  • Communication: notifications, confirmations, and admin-side notes.

How does it connect to the public page?

Settings created in the admin interface determine what guests see and how they can book. For example, published events appear in the calendar, and resources assigned to services regulate capacity. Bookings made on the public page also appear here, so you can oversee the entire process in one place.
