Waitlist automation presets
Presets are preconfigured automation templates that provide a ready-to-use rule set for managing waitlists. With presets, you can standardize when, how, and with what priority waitlist requests are processed.
Create a preset
- Name and description: choose a descriptive name that clearly indicates the purpose of the preset (e.g. “Short-deadline fill-up”).
- Define rules: set priority principles (time order, category, membership level) and define the selection logic.
- Notification settings: configure which channels are used and when selected waitlist users receive notifications.
- Timing and deadline rules: define how long an offer remains valid and when it is automatically withdrawn.
After saving, the preset becomes available in service- or event-level configurations.
Edit a preset
When editing an existing preset, all changes affect future runs that use this preset. Before making changes, it’s recommended to check which services are currently assigned to it.
- Versioning: for major changes, it’s advisable to create a new preset.
- Impact review: review how the priority order will change.
- Communication: inform the affected admins about the changes.
Delete a preset
Deleting a preset removes it from future automation configurations. Before deleting, make sure that no active service is still using it.
- Safety check: ensure the preset is not linked to any active configuration.
- Select alternative: assign a different preset if needed.
- Irreversibility: deletion is permanent, so make sure you have a backup of the settings.
