Resource ↔ Service relationships

Linking resources and services defines which resources can be used to book a given service. This is how you control capacity and ensure that the booking flow always uses the right resources.

Managing relationships

You can select related items either on the resource detail page or in the service settings. This way, the system knows exactly which resources are available for a given service.

  • Bidirectional linking: you can manage relationships both from the resource side and from the service side.
  • Capacity impact: the more resources you assign, the more bookings can be handled in parallel.
  • Flexibility: you can add seasonal or temporary resources as needed.

Recommended practices

  • Regular review: periodically check that each service has sufficient resources assigned.
  • Clear roles: if multiple resource types are required, label them clearly.
  • Capacity balance: monitor overloaded resources and reassign new ones to the appropriate services.
