Add · View · Edit · Delete

When managing events, the classic Add · View · Edit · Delete actions let you quickly create new events, update existing ones, or permanently remove them if needed. The goal is always to keep event data consistent and up to date throughout the booking process.

Create

When creating a new event, set the service, date and time, capacity, and whether the event should be published. It’s a good idea to immediately check that the related resources are available for the selected time window.

  • Select service: defines the base settings.
  • Date and duration: sets the time frame for bookings.
  • Capacity: how many participants can book at the same time.
  • Publication status: whether it’s visible on the public booking page.

Edit

While editing, you can change details, but be aware that modifying time or capacity can affect existing bookings. If changes impact bookings, review the waitlist and booking statuses first.

  • Change capacity: triggers a recalculation of utilization.
  • Change date/time: may have notification and communication implications.
  • Update publication status: publish or withdraw the event.

Delete

When you delete an event, the system permanently removes it from the list. If there are related bookings, handle them before deletion (for example, move them to another event or to the waitlist). After deletion, the associated capacity is freed up.
