The Top utilization panel lists the most heavily used services and events. Its purpose is to let you immediately see where demand is highest and which occurrences may require quick action.
What does the list show?
- Service or event name: the title of the service or event with the highest utilization.
- Utilization rate: shows how much of the capacity is already filled (for example, 90–100%).
- Date/occurrence: for group events, the specific date or time slot where utilization is critical.
- Quick actions: direct links to manage the relevant event or occurrence.
How should you use the quick actions?
The goal of quick actions is to avoid navigating through multiple list views. From this panel, you can immediately open the management view of the selected event, where you can move bookings, manage the waitlist, or create new occurrences. If multiple services are at peak utilization, prioritize those with the largest gap between demand and available capacity.
When should you intervene?
- Create new occurrences: if an event regularly fills up, it’s worth adding additional time slots.
- Increase capacity: adding new resources or allowing a higher participant limit can help manage overbooking.
- Activate the waitlist: when no spots are left, the waitlist ensures cancellations are refilled quickly.
