Permission levels

Access to the admin interface is controlled by roles. Each role comes with different permissions and responsibilities, ensuring that team members only manage the functions relevant to them.

Account admin

The account admin is the highest-privileged user within a specific account. You’re responsible for the account’s operation, settings, and managing key users.

  • Typical tasks: changing account settings, managing services and resources, inviting key users.
  • Responsibility: ensuring consistency in booking processes and the overall customer experience.

Account key user

As a key user, you work with the admin interface on a daily basis but don’t necessarily have access to all account-level settings. Your work is usually operational.

  • Typical tasks: managing bookings, maintaining events, handling customer communication.
  • Limitations: actions related to critical account settings or subscriptions are not available.

Superadmin (global admin)

The superadmin has global-level access and can manage multiple accounts. This role typically belongs to the Bookcessful operations team.

  • Typical tasks: monitoring accounts, performing system-level interventions, audits, and managing admin modules.
  • Security principle: you only access accounts when justified, and every change is logged.
