In the Bookings module, some of the most important tasks are opening booking details and managing waitlisted items. These actions let you track exactly which bookings need attention and what steps are required to use capacity optimally.
Opening booking details
By clicking on a booking row, you open the detail view, where you can review participant data, the date and time, the service, and the assigned resource. You can also see the booking status, helping you quickly decide whether changes or further communication are needed.
- Data verification: review name, contact details, and booking identifiers.
- Status tracking: check pending / confirmed / cancelled states.
- Related event: for group events, quickly jump to the management view.
Managing waitlisted items
If a booking is placed on the waitlist, the system indicates that there’s no immediate free capacity. When handling waitlisted items, you can jump to the event management view, where you can move bookings, assign freed-up spots, or create new occurrences.
- Event management view: link to the group event details.
- Reassignment: assign a waitlisted customer to an available time slot.
- Capacity expansion: if needed, reduce the waitlist by creating new occurrences.
Typical decision points
- Long waitlist: expand capacity or create a new event.
- Unclear status: review booking details and clarify the status.
- Customer feedback: use the communication data in the detail view to contact the customer quickly.
